Terms of use

The service

Peppo lets you upload 3D models and related files, place spatial annotations (hotspots) on geometry, attach media, collaborate with teammates, and share review links with stakeholders. Features, storage limits, and availability may change as the product evolves. We may add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

Your account

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
• You may sign in with email and password or, where offered, Google OAuth. Do not share access tokens or circumvent authentication.

Beta & early access

Peppo may be offered as a pre-release beta or early-access program. During beta, the service is provided free of charge, may contain bugs or incomplete features, and may experience downtime or data loss. We do not guarantee any service-level agreement (SLA) during beta. Pricing, storage limits, and features may change before general availability. We may revoke beta access at any time.

By participating in beta, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use feedback, suggestions, and bug reports you provide to improve Peppo, without compensation. Unreleased beta features are confidential — do not publish screenshots, demos, or blog posts about unreleased functionality without our written permission. Your content

You retain ownership of the 3D models, media, annotations, and other material you upload to Peppo (“your content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service — for example, to render models in the browser, generate thumbnails, convert or optimize files, enforce storage quotas, and serve content to you and people you authorize.

We do not use your 3D models, textures, or project content to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Peppo staff and subprocessors access your content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload your content and to grant the license above, and that your content does not violate law or third-party rights.

Projects, teams & sharing

• Project owners control who can view or edit a project. Respect collaborator roles and do not access projects you are not invited to.
• Share links grant access to anyone with the link for the lifetime of the link (or until it is revoked or expires). You are responsible for how and with whom you distribute share links.
• Team workspaces let multiple members collaborate under shared ownership rules defined in the product. Team owners and admins are responsible for managing membership.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Peppo. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:

• Uploading malware, illegal content, or material that infringes intellectual property
• Attempting to access other users' accounts, projects, or storage without authorization
• Probing, scraping, or overloading the service beyond normal use
• Using disposable or abusive sign-up methods to evade limits or bans
• Reselling or sublicensing the service without our written permission

We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate accounts that threaten the service or other users.

Storage, plans & billing

Free and paid plans include storage quotas and feature limits described on our pricing page. If you exceed your quota, uploads may be blocked until you free space or upgrade.

Paid subscriptions, when offered, are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the price and cadence shown at checkout. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges; access typically continues through the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise. We may change pricing with advance notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.

Deletion & retention

When you delete a project, it is moved to Trash and retained for 7 days so you can restore it. After 7 days, projects and associated stored files are permanently deleted by an automated process. You may permanently delete a project from Trash at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.

Third-party services

Peppo relies on third-party providers to operate, including Supabase (authentication and database), Cloudflare R2 (object storage), Vercel and Render (hosting and backend services), Stripe (payments, when enabled), and Google (optional OAuth sign-in). Your use of those features may also be subject to the providers' own terms.

Disclaimers

Peppo is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that converted or optimized models will match source files in every detail, or that the service will meet every workflow requirement. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important content.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peppo and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars.

Termination

You may stop using Peppo at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including content licenses granted to us, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Peppo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by email or in-app notice).

Third-party assets

Some interface cursors used in Peppo are adapted from free icons on Flaticon, with strokes and other modifications added for the product. Under the Flaticon License, attribution is required:
